Happy New Year!

Happy 2008! I hope you have a fun, safe, and memorable celebration! I am in South Dakota celebrating with my sister and brother-in-law. I will return to my office on Wedensday January 2nd.

As this year comes to close, I want to thank each and everyone of my customers for their patronage. Many businesses forget that it is THE CUSTOMER that gives them a business in the first place. I vow never to forget that. Every call, every email, every inquiry, and every booking means more to me than I could explain. I still pinch myself when I think of what this buisness has become. Alyssa & Andy

Alyssa and Andy were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Lodge in Brainerd. I will not soon forget their anniversary as it is the same day as my birthday! Alyssa and Andy are a super pair. Their love for each other shines through in every glance. Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your wedding day. I wish you all the best!

Nolan!

Some of you may recognize this little buddy from some previous posts. This is Nolan. A Nine Month Old Nolan. I have had the opportunity to photograph his newborn, 3 month, 6 month and now 9 month portraits. I love this age. They ooze personality, they sit up, they are super alert and they smile effortlessly. Nolan succeeded at all of these.

Nolan may have a look of disgust on his face, but I do beleive he had a mighty fun time!

Mason...

Last weekend I was back in the Twin Cities to photograph a few babies! Here's Mason....a fresh little new addition to Courtney and Alex's life. It was fun to see you all. Congratulations on your Christmas Baby.

Rodney, Jessica, Eric & Christopher....

I loved photographing this family. Jessica is a great friend of mine and it was fun to meet her family. I didn't beleive her when she said her boys weren't shy. Typically kids are shy around a camera....not these two! I had such a great time capturing their smiles! Thanks for dinner too!

Puppy Love...

Today I photographed sweet Britty; A photo session to document a well loved dog. She was a bit chilled outside, so we caught a few more of her indoors. As a dog lover, it was a super fun time!

A Few More Images...

I wasn't going to have access to a bride and groom and not take some of my OWN images, so the following are a few shots of my sister and NEW brother-in-law in their town of Humboldt, South Dakota; just 20 miles west of Sioux Falls. Troy manages a grain elevator and farms so the back drop for these images seemed very appropriate. Again, we were battling FRIGID temps and snowflakes. Annie was certainly a trooper.

My last bride of the season....MY SISTER! Annie and Troy were married on Saturday December 8th in Hartford, South Dakota. I was her matron of honor, so the duties of "photographer" were passed onto a local professional. He did an outstanding job photographing the entire bridal party on corn fields and gravel roads, against fence posts and doning shot guns. We are a pretty hearty group so the frigid winter temps and gusty winds blowing across South Dakota farm fields only made us complain a bit. The following shots are a few of my favorites of my big sister and her groom.
